Introduction

We at Celtic Warrior recognise and fully accept our responsibility to safeguard your privacy, confidentiality and security. We value your trust very highly, and pledge to you that we will work to protect the security and privacy of any personal information you provide to us. Celtic Warrior does not and will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. This includes your name, email address, and any other personal information.

Celtic Warrior and Cookies

When you visit celticwarrior.ie for the first time, a “Cookie” is sent to your computer. This cookie identifies you as a unique user whenever you visit the site. Such cookies allow us, Celtic Warrior, to improve our internet services and to be more responsive to the needs of our online visitors. What Information Do We Collect?

Celtic Warrior does not collect any unique information about you (such as your name, email address, etc.) except when you knowingly choose to provide such information as in the case of the Contact Us form, Reviews form, Newsletter form or when you purchase entry into any of our events. Otherwise, we only collect such anonymous information as time, browser type, operating system, and IP address. That information is used to provide more effective service to our online visitors.

When you purchase entry to any of our events, you will be directed through the checkout process.  During this process we will ask information about you which will include; full name, date of birth, gender, phone number, email address, billing address, club (optional) & event details. If you choose to create an account with us, we will ask you for a unique password.

If you decide to sign up to your newsletter you will be asked the following information; full name, email address, parental consent (if under 16 years) and your mailing preferences.  We will use this information to tailor our communications to you about our latest news, updates & special offers.

Your Rights Regarding Data Supplied Via Our Website

If you discover that Celtic Warrior holds inaccurate information about you, you have a right to instruct Celtic Warrior (as appropriate) to correct that information. Such an instruction must be in writing or via e-mail to the relevant address stated above. Your request will be dealt with within 30 (thirty) days.

Who Do We Share Your Personal Information With?

When you complete a transaction on our site, i.e. when you purchase entry into any of our events, we share your personal information with three (3) separate parties in order to fulfil your transaction.

Registration Provider:

We pass along your information to our registration provider so that they can process your registration.

Transaction Partners:

We currently use PayPal & Stripe as our transaction partners and during your checkout we will send your information to them in order for your transaction to be completed.

Race Timing Provider:

In order for your race to be timed will pass on certain details link to you.  These details will include: Full Name, Gender, Age, Race Category & Club.

How Do We Protect Your Personal Information?

When you place an order on our site, a secure server encrypts all of the information you have provided before it is sent to us, therefore protecting your confidential personal information from any unauthorised use.

We follow strict security procedures which means we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to discuss any of your account information and/or order details.

How Do You Unsubscribe from Our Mailing List?

If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails from us you can unsubscribe in a number or ways.

The easiest method is via any of our marketing emails which you may have received. At the bottom our emails you will see an unsubscribe link, click on this link and follow the instructions.

The next method is to email us on info@celticwarrior.ie providing us with the full name and email address you wish to unsubscribe from the list.

Please Note: If you do unsubscribe from our mailing list we may still contact you in relation to any active order(s) you may have for any of our events.
